A recent study by the Independent newspaper discovered that the majority of British parents struggle to help their children with their maths homework and over 77% of GCSE pupils in England who do not achieve a pass in maths on their first sitting go on to fail again on their retakes. *Source: Dept. of Education Study Jan 2017
