Year 5 & 6: Alice is saving up for a £45 video game. She gets £20 each Monday in pocket money, but she spends £15 each week on school lunch. How many weeks will it take for Alice to save up for the video game?
Year 7-9: Owen can't remember his friend's house number. He does know that all four digits are even, they were in order from smallest to largest, the first two digits form a number with half the value as the number formed by the last two digits. How many possible street address numbers are there with the details Owen remembers?
