Ted really enjoys going to Mathsnasium. He confidence and enthusiasm for maths has developed significantly. Would recommend it for any children who are finding the thought of maths daunting- the star cards and rewards are an excellent driving force for them to want to succeed.

Great staff and friendly learning environment. The kids love the rewards system too.

Our daughter has loved this since she started. Lyndsey and the team have been great with her, and there is a noticeable improvement in her confidence with maths.

My grandaughters confidence in maths has grown since attending mathsnasium and she is happy to attend. It doesn't feel like going to a tutor or having to do extra homework because they have fun, play games and earn rewards.

We haven’t been with Mathnasium long enough (two months) to feedback on the value it’s bringing to our daughter’s progress and confidence. Yet what we have experienced to date has been very helpful. The good things are: 1) The environment being both class room orientated, creating independent working alongside tutor support 2) Games and elements of fun threaded in through short breaks with access to numerous games and a star reward system which is working well for our daughter’s motivation. 3) Organisation - the onboarding is straight forward. The booking system is a doddle and flexibility to accommodate a busy modern day lifestyle. 4) Progress reports - as parents you can choose to be involved through analysing the regular reports, understanding what topics the children are working on to know how and what to support them with at home 5) Mathnasium Team. In particular Lindsey from an organisational, friendly managerial approach and James, one of the tutors who both our daughter’s prefer and enjoy working with the most. 6) Peers - being in a tutor environment whilst seeing peers (they don’t know) come into Mathnasium and get on with it. Helps reduce the anxiety and shows them that children of all ages in different schools are receiving maths support outside of school. Things to improve - I’m not sure how much communication is had with the child on their own progress and what mathematical language is used to embed the strategies and explain why they are working on what they are working on. The tutors support them and explain the worksheets in hand yet is the big picture of why and how the concepts and strategies are interlinked and embedded explained? Our daughter’s aren’t able to share this so I don’t know if Mathnasium do this? .

Tom settled in so easily. He has a clear plan to work to, building confidence and improving his approach to his work. Really pleased with his progress.

My daughter has been enjoying her classes with Mathnasium. The system reintroduces concepts until she gains mastery and it is done in ways she doesn't find it boring! :)

Contacted Mathsnasium as my grandaughter seemed to be struggling at school and I felt she needed a confidence boost as well as some help understanding maths. She was a bit shy and unsure at first but now she loves going , infact she's asked if she can go every day ! She also says she feels more confident in maths lessons at school. The reward system helps too as she can collect stars which convert to prizes !!

Tom has settled so quickly, really enjoys coming and working with the team, makes such a difference when they enjoy it.

Felix has come on leaps and bounds with us maths since starting mathnasium. Aside from anything the biggest improvement has been in his confidence. From being very unsure and struggling with his maths, to actually being confident in his ability and willingness to answer questions in school.

Mathnasium takes the fear out of maths and brings back the fun! The change it has made to my little girl's confidence has spread much further than just making her enjoy maths more, it has improved how she feels about school too. That flows into her home-life too as there isn't that "Sunday Night Dread" now! It sounds corny, but it has really been life-changing for her.

Mathnasium has been a real help to my 10 year old , who was finding maths at school very confusing and lessons too short to embed the learning...she has flourished at Mathnasium in that she is now able to understand..she feels she is learning in a different way which suits her ..her test results have improved ..as she got very anxious during tests knowing she would struggle..we will now always run the classes along with school learning .

My granddaughter Sofia seems to have come on really well with her maths since starting with Mathnasium. The main thing seems to be her growth in confidence - she now seems to enjoy Maths rather than look on it as a threat. Her class teachers have noticed this. I think my only other comment would be that, as her confidence and competence grow and as she becomes more involved in other post school activities it would be a welcome option for her to perhaps attend Mathnasium one day per week at some point - it would also help me balance my budget as finances get tighter

The support that my little girl receives at Mathsnasium is utterly amazing. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They know how to take the fear out and put the fun back in to maths

Attentive tutors and tangible results seen in a short space of time. Confidence has really been installed in my daughters ability to do maths now
